Study Period Form for Thesis/Final Report at Company/Institution

As established by the Faculty Council on June 14, 2022, it is possible for students to spend time in a company both for internships and for the preparation of the final examination, aligning the number of hours with the university credits required by the academic regulations of the study programs for both the internship and the final examination.

If a Master’s Degree student intends to prepare only the final examination at a company, the Faculty Council proposes an allocation of up to a maximum of 300 hours, generally non-consecutive.

The 75-hour limit for Bachelor’s Degree students remains unchanged, to be completed at companies for the preparation of the final examination, as approved by the Faculty Council on June 14, 2017.

The form, duly completed and signed by the Supervisor and the Company Representative, must be submitted to the Dean’s Office for authorization.
